Service Technician
Distribution company in NW Etobicoke, specialized in products and services for chemical testing, is looking for a Service Technician part-time or full-time (flexible schedule). We are a small but growing business, looking for an energetic person who enjoys doing a variety of tasks. Customers range from industrial laboratories in mining and metallurgy, to agriculture, food testing and consumer products across Canada and the USA.
Responsibilities include :
* service calls to troubleshoot and repair laboratory equipment
* providing technical support by phone and email
* installation and user training
* in-shop repair work
* parts inventory management
* organizing and maintaining technical documentation
* keeping good track record system of service work
Requirements :
*Technical background in mechanical, electrical or similar specialties
*Minimum 5 years previous field service experience
*Willingness to travel
*Ability to work independently and multi-task
*Helpful and pro-active customer-service attitude
